Rabbiting On

iPad drawings (mostly)

New business cards - check.
Art back from printer - check.
Frames ready to hang - check.
Invite friends to the exhibition opening - oh, yeah, I knew I had forgotten something…

So, as part of the Brighton Festival (http://brightonfestival.org), amongst the many artists showing at Artist Open Houses (http://www.aoh.org.uk/may-2014-festival-home), my Instagram project #ruleofthirds_hove will be showing at the Claremont Hotel in Hove.

The exhibition is open all through May (and in fact my photos will be hanging at the Claremont until November), but on Sunday May 4th you will be able to meet the artist (that’s me :-) at the venue. I hope to see you there.

Let me know that you are coming, and there might be a little present for you…

My friend, the famous Joburg blogger 2Summers, recently asked me to create a banner for her blog redesign. I felt first honoured and then scared. What did I know about web design? As it turns out she liked the drawings I did for a Derivé workshop in Johannesburg last year. The banner was supposed to depict some of the things 2Summers is famous for: her boxing, her iPhoneography, the Melville cat… I used Paper to draw and Pixelmator to assemble the banner. Here are some of the drawings I made.
